Berlin Thunder made a statement in AFLE Week 3, and wide receiver Jon Cole was at the center of it. Cole was named AFLE Week 3 MVP after a standout performance.
230 yards and four touchdowns
In the 45-12 win over the Firenze Red Lions, Cole caught 12 passes for 230 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns, setting a new AFLE single-game receiving yards record.
Quarterback Jakeb Sullivan also played a major role, throwing for 431 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Berlin sends an offensive message
For Berlin, the award comes at an important time. Thunder has now won two games in a row and looks much more dangerous offensively.
