Drama in Paris: Raiders Tirol lose in the final seconds
Raiders Tirol came close to their first win of the season, but Paris turned the game late and won 24-17.
Paris decides it late
Raiders Tirol suffered another painful night in the European Football Alliance. For a long time in Paris, the visitors looked close to their first win of the season, but the Paris Musketeers eventually prevailed 24-17.
Tirol led 17-10 at halftime and forced the Musketeers into a tight, physical game for long stretches. The decision came in the final moments: Paris reached the end zone with only 16 seconds left and moved ahead 24-17.
Raiders remain winless
The loss hurts because Tirol showed exactly the kind of response the team needed after a difficult start to the season. Defense, fight and big plays kept the Raiders in the game until the very end.
The final attempt to answer ended with an interception. Tirol remains without a win after four games, while Paris showed character in an important home matchup.
For Tirol, it was a game full of hope – and an ending that really hurts.
