Vikings pass the test

The Vienna Vikings remain unbeaten in the AFLE. On the road at Panthers Wrocław, Vienna earned a 43-23 win and improved to 2-0. The game delivered big plays, turnovers, sacks, blocked kicks and two quarterbacks who kept the matchup alive.

Ben Holmes threw for 349 yards and four touchdowns. On the other side, Jameson Wang kept Wrocław in contention with 354 passing yards and three touchdowns. Benjamin Straight also played a decisive role, forcing two fumbles and giving Vienna’s offense extra opportunities.

Vienna also controlled the Panthers rushing attack, holding them to 64 yards on the ground. The Vikings now move toward a major matchup with Rhein Fire, while Wrocław travels to Paris.

Vienna stays perfect – but this was a real test.
