Historic start for Paris

The Paris Lights opened their official AFLE franchise history with a clear statement. At the Complexe Sportif de l’Île-des-Vannes in L’Île-Saint-Denis, Paris defeated the Firenze Red Lions 30-8.

The start was far from ideal. Firenze took an 8-0 lead in the first quarter, but Paris took control from the second period on. Two touchdowns before halftime turned the game around, 13 more points followed in the third quarter and a late field goal sealed the final score.

Hillock and Wallace lead the way

Receiver Tristen Wallace also stood out with 4 catches for 116 yards and 2 touchdowns. Armand Soulerot added an important contribution with 51 rushing yards, a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown.

Paris controls the game after the first quarter
