Wilson wants his standard back

Garrett Wilson enters the new season with a clear mission. The New York Jets wide receiver wants to get back to the level he set for himself after knee issues limited him to only seven games in 2025.

For Wilson, it was the first real break in an otherwise consistent NFL career. In his first three seasons, he topped 1,000 receiving yards each year. The 2025 season with only 395 yards was therefore a major setback.

The connection with Geno Smith will be important. If that chemistry grows quickly, the Jets passing game can become much more dangerous.

Garrett Wilson is not simply returning – he is starting a mission.
