EFA Week 9 Review: Prague shocks Paris as Nordic and Munich dominate
Prague wins a 36-35 overtime thriller, Nordic Storm responds in style and Munich overwhelms Frankfurt 38-5.
EFA Week 9 produced one instant classic and two strong statements from title contenders.
Paris 35-36 Prague
Multiple lead changes, a last-second field goal and a successful overtime two-point conversion gave Prague a crucial road win. The result puts the Lions firmly back into the BIG4 race.
Nordic 40-14 Raiders Tirol
After their first loss and a bye, Nordic controlled the game in Innsbruck from the start. The Storm offense created separation early and never allowed Tirol to recover.
Frankfurt 5-38 Munich
The Ravens dominated the German matchup. Frankfurt never found offensive rhythm, while Munich applied pressure on both sides of the ball.
Weekend winners
- Prague: a massive confidence and playoff boost.
- Nordic: the ideal response to adversity.
- Munich: another complete performance.
Bottom line: Munich and Nordic lead the way, but Prague has reopened the playoff fight.
