No goodbye after the title

DeMarcus Lawrence could have picked a perfect retirement moment after winning the Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks. After 11 years with the Dallas Cowboys, the veteran pass rusher won a title in his first season in Seattle. Still, retirement is not on the table for him.

Lawrence made it clear that he still has more to give. Questions about his future came mainly from earlier absences during voluntary team activities, but the reason was largely family-related.

On the field, Lawrence remains valuable for Seattle. In 2025 he recorded six sacks in the regular season and added two more in the playoffs. His career total now stands at 67.5 sacks.

The title was not the end – Lawrence wants another run.
