AFLE turns to experience

The American Football League Europe has officially appointed Jim Tomsula as league president. In the newly created role, he is expected to help make the AFLE stronger, more competitive and more sustainable over the long term.

Tomsula brings extensive experience from different football environments. According to the league, that background should help raise standards in coaching, player development, organization and competitive structure.

For the AFLE, this is more than a personnel announcement. The league is sending a clear signal that it does not only want short-term visibility, but is also working to build reliable structures for the future.
