The Braunschweig Lions emphatically confirmed their positive trend. The 50-17 victory over the Saarland Hurricanes was not only their first home win of the 2026 season, but also their third success in a row.

After a difficult start to the season, the development is remarkable. Braunschweig look more stable, more confident and significantly more dangerous than they did only a few weeks ago. The win over Saarland was therefore more than an ordinary league result.

The Lions must now carry this momentum forward. There is still plenty of movement in the North, and Braunschweig have clearly put themselves back into the conversation with their recent performances.
